On the principle of an ABC.... : In the form of an open dialogue with the public, this programme of gatherings launched in 2006 explored the museum's collections and the vocabulary of contemporary art.
The provisional is a notion which touches on the ephemeral, the act of passing through. Brigitte Garcia's work Toujours vert (2002) projects all its poetry into the fragility of the images that came one after another. As we consider them, one questions springs to mind. Isn't Toujours vert, this glass ball, this self-contained world a reflection of our own fragility, our own provisional existence?
